Tour de CDR

Ser man på tallene fra den seneste Nordic CDR Report, har vi i Norden potentiale til at blive Europas førende CO2-fjernelses region. Ifølge rapporten har vi mulighed for at indfange op til 60% af det vi skal fjerne fra atmosfæren, samtidig med at vi kan genere op til 148.000 jobs. Mulighederne virker uendelige, men spørgsmålet er om det holder i prakis?

For at blive klogere på praktikken omkring disse muligheder og se det med egne øjne, inviterer Klimate en gruppe udvalgte med på Tour de CDR - en dag i CO2-fangstens og lagringens tegn, hvor vi besøger to af Danmarks førende CO2-fangst projekter.

Dagens program

Turen går til Greensand (Esbjerg) og Bigadan (Kalundborg). På hver facilitet vil dagen byde på en guidet tour, hvor vi hører meget mere fra kræfterne bag projekterne. Vi skal bl.a omkring hvordan faciliteterne reelt fungerer, hvorfor Norden faktisk har så mange muligheder, og hvordan disse muligheder ser ud fra investeringsfronten.


7:30: Mødes på Valby Station
Bussen kører på 7:45. Let morgenmad og kaffe serveres på bussen.

8:45: Ankomst til Bigadan, Kalundborg
Guidet tour af Bigadans facilitet. Bigadan er et af Danmarks banebrydende eksempler på biologisk CO2-fangst og -lagring.

10:15: Afgang mod Esbjerg
Frokost serveres på bussen.

13:15: Ankomst til Greensand, Esbjerg Havn
Guidet tour af Greensands facilitet. Greensand er Vesterhavets port til permanent CO2-lagring.

14:45: Afgang mod København
Kaffe og kage serveres på bussen.

18:30: Ankomst Valby station

With combined expertise on land-based projects and the carbon removal industry, he leads the side of Klimate focused on delivering impact. Senior Sustainability Consultant at Zevero

Ed is part of the inaugural cohort of certified experts with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). With four years’ experience advising service-led organisations, he supports leadership teams to develop credible, science-based decarbonisation strategies that extend across complex value chains. Ed is particularly focused on how asset-light organisations can use their influence strategically, helping businesses move from broad ambition to measurable, defensible climate action across their value chains.
