Circular Carbon

Circular Carbon was founded in 2018 with the idea of using biomass residues in the circular economy. The project produces and supplies biochar in large, scalable quantities and help their industrial clients to decarbonise with bioenergy solutions alongside carbon dioxide removal. The project uses circular economy and renewable energy to produce biochar from organic residues (cocoa shells) to restore the natural balance in agricultural soils. Biochar is improves soil fertility as it promotes the build-up of humus in depleted agricultural soils.

Industrial Biochar

Biochar is a charcoal-looking, carbon-rich substance that is produced when organic materials are subjected to a process called pyrolysis. Industrial biochar utilises modern engineering to efficiently produce high-quality biochar in large quantities, offering a scalable and impactful approach to climate change mitigation.
