Project

Biokolprodukter - Krageholm Drifts

The project produces high-quality biochar and renewable heat from sustainably sourced residues from its own forest. The biochar serves as a long-term carbon sink in the soil, and the heat is recovered and used for grain drying and heating farm buildings, supporting the replacement of fossil fuels.

Industrial Biochar

Biochar is a charcoal-looking, carbon-rich substance that is produced when organic materials are subjected to a process called pyrolysis. Industrial biochar utilises modern engineering to efficiently produce high-quality biochar in large quantities, offering a scalable and impactful approach to climate change mitigation.
